Day 39 of 365: When In Doubt, Shoot a Church
10 02 2010Had no time to shoot today, starting to get desperate to keep the 365 project going. Can’t go wrong shooting a church. So I decided to play around with the high ISO on the D3s. – I found a dark church to shoot to challenge myself. For the geeks like me who care, this is ISO 25,600. The image came out very two dimensional to me, but hey, it’s an image for today and saves me from not fulfilling the project today…

Day 37 of 365: Brother & Sister Reflection
8 02 2010I spent most of today having a long overdue brunch with my little (not so little anymore!) sister. Fortunately she always sports a funky New York Bohemian style, and she made today’s image of the day. You can see a clear reflection of me in her eyes (well glasses) here. Metaphorically and spiritually, it is kind of a good representation of our day together – reminiscing and pondering life. Thanks sis!

Day 34 of 365: Technicolor Fashion Mural
5 02 2010Needed to take a break from the NYC HDR images, so I started scheduling some model shoots again. NYC model, make-up artists, fire dancer, belly dancer and event producer, Massae, helps me kick off a new series – Fashion Murals. We are going to shoot a series of fashion shoots with NYC murals as the backgrounds.

Day 30 of 365: One Month Done!
1 02 2010I made it to one month. Thanks to everyone who has supported this project so far. Your support is the encouragement I need. Now if I can only invent a few extra hours everyday! This first month has set the stage for a couple of themes for the remainder of the project. Most notably – nighttime HDR in NYC! This shot is very random, as I had to force myself to get a shot for today. So one month down, eleven to go! Stay tuned…
