Thanks to my buddy Eric Cheng for putting me onto this fun color IQ test. I got a perfect score, yeah!

Day 45 of 365: Face of Love

16 02 2010

Ok, one more Valentine’s Day image. Yes I cheated and didn’t shoot this today, but rather than kill the 365 project, I figured that I’m allowed to let a few slide, particularly in the name of love! (sappy, I know)

Day 44 of 365: On Valentine’s Day, My Eveything

14 02 2010

My first, my last, my everything,
And the answer to all my dreams.
You’re my sun, my moon, my guiding star.
My kind of wonderful, that’s what you are.

I know there’s only, only one like you
There’s no way they could have made two.
You’re, you’re all I’m living for
Your love I’ll keep for evermore.
You’re the first, my last, my everything.

Day 43 of 365: My Sexy Valentine

13 02 2010

I’m so lucky to have the most beautiful, loving, warm, special woman in my life. She’s my wife, my best friend, my partner in this adventure we call life. I love you mi amor. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Day 42 of 365: Gorgeous Luna in the Snow

13 02 2010

Having no time to shoot today, and a playful dog who had to be in the snow every hour on the hour to enjoy herself, today’s image beckoned to be created. The tongue was a bonus precious moment.

Day 40 of 365: Blizzards Are For The Birds

10 02 2010

The northeast blizzard of 2010 is upon us. As I was driving back from an errand I was mesmerized by the dense falling snow. I had to stop when I saw this flock of seagulls (no 80’s reference intended) braving the weather. It must suck to be a seagull in the snow…but they didn’t look phased. A reminder of how nature is both beautiful and brutal at the same time.

Day 39 of 365: When In Doubt, Shoot a Church

10 02 2010

Had no time to shoot today, starting to get desperate to keep the 365 project going. Can’t go wrong shooting a church. So I decided to play around with the high ISO on the D3s. – I found a dark church to shoot to challenge myself. For the geeks like me who care, this is ISO 25,600. The image came out very two dimensional to me, but hey, it’s an image for today and saves me from not fulfilling the project today…

Day 38 of 365: Modern Playground Meets Old World New York

9 02 2010

Love the contrast of the modern playground design against the old stone building.

Day 37 of 365: Brother & Sister Reflection

8 02 2010

I spent most of today having a long overdue brunch with my little (not so little anymore!) sister. Fortunately she always sports a funky New York Bohemian style, and she made today’s image of the day. You can see a clear reflection of me in her eyes (well glasses) here. Metaphorically and spiritually, it is kind of a good representation of our day together – reminiscing and pondering life. Thanks sis!
